Up From The Ashes…
Starting out, Back Roads was a brainchild of 2 of the members, who had recently come from the breakup of 2 other popular local acts. Having already played together for many years in various other situations, and having spent time together touring the US and Canada, it was a natural pairing! An ad here, a phone call there, and after a bit of trial and error, the magical combination was found! Back Roads was born in 2012, and took off like fire in the wind! No one had heard harmonies this powerful and natural anywhere near this area of the country! Nashville level playing in a small town is what Back Roads brings to the table!
Musical Shape Shifters
The members of Back Roads share a common love of many different styles of music. Their influences range from the country they are so good at, to classic rock and roll, as well as pop, R&B, jazz and many other genres. It’s not unusual to catch them going from George Stait one minute, to Metallica the next, just to show they can do it!
Looking To The Future
13 years together and still going strong. Sure, Back Roads has hit a few potholes along the way, but throughout it all, the original line up has remained the driving force in their longevity! Adding to the power of this group, is its newest member, sound man extraordinaire Nate Fryar! Back Roads has been trying to secure this man for years, and that dream finally came true in 2025! Gonna be an amazing year ahead, so hold on tight!!!
